We are Sterna Racing, a dedicated team of five students from James Gillespie's High School, competing in Stem Racing - a prominent STEM challenge recognized as the worlds largest stem competition.
What is
Stem Racing?
Stem Racing is a engineering contest for secondary students, where teams design and race miniature F1 cars at speeds up to 75 mph. Our car last season went up to an amazing 70kmph! Judging extends beyond speed, considering presentations, displays, and portfolios. It's a STEM challenge that applies classroom skills to real-life situations.
